My breathing is a little better. Now to get the weight off. This morning I weighed 230.6 for a total loss of 4.4 lbs. Yesterday I ran 4.31 mile, swam for 1h05m and lifted weights for 30m. Total time was 2h25m and I burned 1424 calories. The swimming at the end of the day really stretches me out which get rid of some of the lactic acid, plus it is fun. I was getting ready to eat a healthy Yoplait fat free blueberry yogurt when I was interrupted by one of my students who said you can't eat that. I said it is all natural and yes I can. We took a look at the ingredients and low and behold the third ingredient was hydrogenated corn syrup. Which means they put a sweetener in this so called healthy food. I guess I will have to get plain yogurt and add my own blueberries. If you sugar bust remember to read labels because corn syrup is more sweet than sugar and causes the same problems. Healthy processed food is hard to find. Stay as close to nature as you can. Remember to read lables and eat right. baby steps.......

Wow, the sugar buster program sounds pretty intense. I am not sure if we could do that here because we are really limited on the "fresh" products. I don't think I have ever seen plain yogurt in the Commisary. But that doesn't mean that we can't clean up our eating which we are starting to do as we speak. We are working on getting 90% of all the processed foods out of the house. Plus we will probably buy Heather a bread maker to make a healthier bread. Veggies here are very expensive and that sucks!! We are doing what we can to change our eating habits. But you are right baby steps is the way to go. Too much too fast is setting ourselves up for failure. Keep it up. Love ya.
