1/13/10

I am still doing a lot of treadmill running. I decided to go down at 4 pm (which is my normal workout time when I work) and see if any treadmills were open. I couldn't believe it, no one was in the aerobic room. For the first 30 minutes I had it to myself. Tuesday I ran 6.05 miles in 75 minutes and burned 1090 calories. Eventually I want to increase my speed to 10 minutes miles during regular training. For now I will be happy to get my average to 30 miles a week. Good run. Weds. morning I weighed 231.2 for a total loss of 3.8 lbs. I might need to change up my diet or go back to doing a food diary. With the amount of exercise I am doing I should be dropping the pounds more quickly. There is a fine line between eating to much and not eating enough. Either one will cause you to stop losing weight. I need to work on this. Is knowledge and consistency the answer?

  1. I am glad to see that you have your workout room back to yourself at work. Man, that didn't take too long! I was watching a little clip on bodybuilding.com and they said that working out was the easy part and nutrition is where the real work and frustrations come in to play. I totally agree with that. I don't have a problem working out. I DO have a problem eating healthy. We all need to figure it out and I am sure we can meet our weight goals. Love ya. Keep up the good work.
