A long and winding road

I am glad everybody is getting geared up for the new year.  I have a really good attitude towards this coming year.  For the first time in a year and a half I am not pissed off being in my 60's.  I think I have excepted that I really am almost a senior citizen.  It is hard to believe that in 6 months I could retire at age 62.  I won't have my 20 in here at the prison until July which is a month after my 63rd birthday.  When they changed the Social Security age for our age group to 66 a few years ago Mom and I decided that I should stay here at the prison until 66.  That would give me 23 years if I can stand it that long.  During this time I will finish the house to the way we want.  Pay off what bills we have.  We have thought about a condo in St. George or Mesiquite, Nv, or someplace where it's a little warmer.  It would be nice to spent the summers in Manti and winter where it is warm without having to stay in a camping trailer (even if some are pretty nice now days).  That's our plan but it is always open for change.  No workout yesterday.  I was exhausted and thought I was coming down with a bug.  I am thinking about taking tomorrow off so I have a 5 dayer.  With all the training we are doing please remember to take rest days when your body tells you to.  JUST REST
