08/10/11

Two days of Atkins down.  It helps having everything cooked up and bagged into portions.  All I have to do is reach into the fridge and grab the bags.  Not having the things for a bike ride yesterday, I did a longer run than the scheduled 3 miles on Hal Higdon's marathon schedule.  I ran on the treadmill for 1h06m for 5.10 miles and burned 911 calories.  I usually fall right to sleep, but the last two days I have laid there longer than normal.  My heartrate was 60 monday, 61 tuesday and 60 today.  It is elevated a bit because my normal waking heartrate is in the 51 to 55 range.  This should go back down as the weight comes off.  Maybe a little more when and if my body gets used to eating this way.
