Just workout

I ended a very good week of workouts Sunday with a bicycle ride from Manti to Palisade. I bought a seat post rake, with bag, that slides on and clips in place. The reason I needed the bag is I have a tendency to over dress since getting older and I have no place to put the extra clothing when I take it off. Having the bag worked out great. I also upgraded my cycling shoes and pedals. The shoes are close to top of the line as are the pedals. These should last me the rest of my cycling career, unless I get crazy with my cycling. The weather was cloudy and windy with a chance of snow. I just over dressed, as usual, and made it a fun ride instead of a major workout. Got back to Manti as it started snowing. My week totals are: Ran 6.49 miles. Cycled 28.63 miles. Swam .55 miles. Insanity for 2 hours and 27 minutes. All this burned around 5243 calories. With all this working out I lost another 2 pound so I am now 220. Things are going good except for the running. I will start Hal Higdon's Marathon program this week. I think I need a schedule to help keep me on track. Life is great! Just WORKOUT

  1. Sounds like you got in some good numbers. Keep up the good work. It was a long hot day here in the Philippines and I got a real nice sunburn going on irregardless of how much sunscreen I put on. Oh well, what can you do. I was feeling dehydrated after work even though I drank about a gallon of water and a gallon of gatorade. Guess I need to take in even more fluids. I got in a run though which is what I need to do. Love ya and keep it up.
