I will be good

My stomach was killing me last night so I stayed home today.  I am filling better today and should have went to work.   I did get on the variable speeding treadmill for a 5.01 mile run and burned 796 calories.  This morning I was 220 which means I lost 1 pound last week.  My max. weight for the last 5 years was 251 lbs. so I think I am on the right track.  My lowest weight in the last 5 years was 217 lbs. so I am pretty close right now.  Come on 216, can't wait.  I don't know if I wrote that I ordered the Garmin Foot Pod ,but I did and it should be here soon.  I would really like to lose 2 lbs. a week.  Holidays are here and that means trouble for those of us that are trying to lose weight.  What can we do?  The first thing I will do is think more about portion size.  I will enjoy the foods I love but smaller portions of each.  I usually don't have a problem with Thanksgiving because I don't eat that much anyway.  My problem is that eveywhere I go there are goodies.  The piecing in-between meals is what kills me this time of the year. Someone brings goodies everyday to work. Walking by the donuts, cookies, fudge, mixed nuts, is hard.  Grandma always has fudge and homemade cookies when we go there. We don't realize the calories we eat when everytime we walk by we take something.  Everyplace we go we eat 1 pc. of fudge, 1 cookies, 1 handfull of mixed nuts, 1 rice crispy ball, some carmel popcorn, 1 piece of candy from a box.   Man does that add up fast.  I will try and be good.  I will be good.  I will be consistent.

  1. First of all I replied to your comment on my blog so check it out. The nice thing about being here is we don't have all the holiday candy laying around. So I should be good that way. I just need to focus on my portion control BUT lately I need to focus on eating regularly. Something every 2-3 hours so my body don't go into starvation mode and store that stubborn fat.

I think bringing your own snacks to work might help with not grubbing on the junk food. Packing some baby carrots, fruit, or things like that can really help.

I'm excited that you are so close to your lowest weight in 5 years. I wish I could say the same thing. I will get there though. I hope Billy can get in the work out mode with us because more the merrier. Keep it up. Love ya.
