Week totals

I ran 7.35 miles, cycled for 13.52 miles, swam for a half miles and did Insanity for 2h02 minutes. I was so sore from the 13.25 mile run down Salina Canyon I put off doing much running, which was a big mistake. I still got in 5 hours and 55 minutes of training which was not bad. Will do a long run this week down Salina Canyon and beat myself up again. Now the weather has somewhat broke, I need to pick up my training. Marathon June 11th so I have no choice. I need to work thru the soreness a little more than I have instead of taking it easy during the sore periods. I have been sucked into the mindset, your to old, you need to rest more to recuporate, your going to hurt yourself if you do to much, you can't do what you used to do bullshit way of thinking. I will not think like that. I think you can think yourself into being an old person if you think all the time about how old you are.  If you start believing that you have limitations, then you will have limitations.  I need to get back to JUST RUN, JUST TRAIN, JUST WORKOUT, JUST DO SOMETHING

  1. You shouldn't be too rough on yourself. You have plenty of gas left in the tank. I offer the name Buster Martin, 101 years old, who just ran the London Marathon. I think you have a lot of good years ahead of you fitness wise. The main thing is to enjoy it! Love ya.
