Fremont Indian road in Clear Creek Canyon

I got the Consealed Weapons Permit class under my belt, just need to send in the paperwork.  After the class I went to the trail head on hwy 89 and I-70.  The Fremont Indain road is a steady climb almost to the top for Clear Creek.  I made it up over 11 miles before I said enough.  I turned around and OH what a ride back down.  I hit 37.5 miles an hour and boy did it feel good.  I see why cycling is addicting because coming down that windy canyon road with hardly any traffic was wonderful.  I will be doing this ride many times in my future.  Goal is all the way to the top.  I road a total of 22.77 miles in  2h02 minutes and burned 1508 calories.  After the 43 yesterday my legs were somewhat dead and my butt was sore as all get out.  I needed the two rides back to back to get me ready for at least 75 at Logan next week.  A hundred might be out of the question.  I am enjoying cycling way to much
