02/04/10

I have had a hard time this week getting motivated. Yesterday I forgot my clothes, like I did Monday. I wanted to bag it right then and there. I was already in the dressing room when I found this out. I had 45 minutes to kill before I could leave work so I decided to change into my running shoes,(which I leave there all the time), and go for a run in my work clothes. I don't like to do this because of the chaffing in the you know where area from the cotton underwear. I figured what the hell and got on the treadmill for a walk. I ended up with a pretty good workout. I ran/walked for 3.39 miles in 43 minutes and burned 608 calories. You would think that since I have been doing this as long as I have it would simple be a habit that I wouldn't even have to think about. WRONG! I am procrastinating right now. I need to get out the door and Just Run

  1. It is good to see that you are improvising to get in your work outs. My work schedule kills me sometimes and it frustrates me when I don't get the time to work out OR I have to miss out on sleep because the Air Force doesn't give us time to work out anymore. And being on 12's all the time really makes it hard to get in my runs after work especially when I have to stay later for various reasons. I guess we just need to be flexible and improvise when we can to make sure we are at least trying to get in a workout. Love ya.
