Christmas is over
Another Christmas has come and gone. It was nice having Heather and the girls staying with us for Christmas. Sad Brandon spent it in Korea. With Christmas over he will be home soon. The kids are so excited they can hard wait. We have had a good 16" of snow so far with this last bunch of storms. Probably 10 to 12 inches of compressed snow still on the ground. I got a workout over the weekend pushing snow with the wheeler. Hands are swollen and the joints hurt more than I would like, still so much easier than shoveling. I have a Colonoscopy at 0930 to tomorrow, see how that goes, not looking at all forward to it. Carolyn has only been after me for 13 years to get one, I guess it is about time. I still need to decide on what I can do with exercise now I am doing somewhat better. I want to run so bad it is messing with my mind. Still have until the second of January to make up my mind

Furnace. Beyond repair. Tooth. Beyond repair
As you can read by the header, this week just keeps getting better and better, come on Monday. I decided to replace the furnace instead of putting good money towards bad. Todd said there wasn't enough room in the attic for the size furnace I need. After explaining I was changing the roof line and building an addition on he was ok with putting in a larger furnace at that time, which will be in the spring. Until then he will try and keep the old one running. I hope he get the parts in soon as the weather is finally turning cold. We to the oral surgeon yesterday to see if he could save the tooth. He was working away, doing what he does, when he says that he sees a crack going completely through the tooth. He stops, end of story, tooth needs pulling, wants to do an implant after Christmas. Now all I need to $500 to $700 to keep the old furnace running and my share of the implant is $800 to $900 dollars. Everything has a way of working itself out, right. Carolyn and I are going to the O'Reilly and Dennis Miller show at the, I think it is the old Salt Palace in Salt Lake, Saturday night. At least I have the Denver game to look forward to tonight. Another post
Furnace stopped working sometime Saturday night. Carolyn woke me up around 0800 Sunday to say the furnace was making a funny noise and would not kick on. Todd is coming over Monday morning to check it out. I know we need a new one but I really wanted to get all the additions and the roof finished before putting one in. 25 years is a pretty good life expectancy for a furnace, they tell me. Thank goodness we have the wood burning stove. Went to bed and the house was around 70 and when I woke up it was 68. Thru a coal on and turned the blower on and in 15 minutes we were back at 70, so nice to have backup. We are over the bug we had. We finished all the decorations and the house looks great, as usual. Carolyn's so great with Christmas. Didn't get any shooting in or order any bullet for the AR. See what the furnace costs, then we will do what we can. I think the shot gave me some relief in the back. The meds. are working as of now. I haven't workout for over a month. I need to workout and see how I feel to see if I am really getting the relief I think I am. I see the specialist for my tooth Wednesday to see what he can do. That is the last of my Doctor appts up north for awhile, had way to many. Go Broncos
